New Bill To Allow Police Misconduct Be Hidden From Public

Everything that a public servant does, needs to be open. No secrets. If you work for the taxpayer, you need to answer to the taxpayer. No sealed records. No closed door hearings. All records need to be public. Period.

you would think they would know better than to do something like that in front of cameras.

Further, you would think they would have known better than do something like that. (end of sentence) Cameras are just an incidental consequence.

If they are obeying the law, why would they want to hide misconduct. What that says to me is that the laws are meant for everyone, except police officers.

If this bill is passed , it is not good for us the people.

By the way , here is another video about a cop who will pay a fine :

Cop has to pay $18,000 for arresting firefighter trying to help an accident victim.

Journalists, lawyers and the public has the right to investigate and watch these videos .

Re: New Bill To Allow Police Misconduct Be Hidden From Public

I live in a small town, and we don't need all this lame legislation to cover up facts. We just ignore them. Every now and again a body is found in a dumpster, and they always seem to have died of either "natural causes" or "heart failure". The fact that it seems to happen to individuals with a history of convictions in dealing drugs or suspected drug connections is just coincidence.

just to be a devils advocate maybe there should be more police misconduct. Maybe people will think twice before breaking the law.

^ Maybe there should be less laws, then people wouldn't be breaking them by ingesting a chemical or carrying inanimate objects.
