Migrants have taken four out of five jobs created since Labour came to power, Whitehall analysts have said.

Their verdict was a huge embarrassment to Cabinet ministers, who have claimed most jobs went to Britons.

It brought new criticism for Gordon Brown and his promise of "British jobs for British workers".
Mr Field called on the Government to stop Eastern Europeans taking jobs here.

Thats what prisoners should be for: doing the jobs that Brits don't want to do. (or have I got it the wrong way round: That is what Europe is for, taking the prisoners the Brits don't want to house.?)

Its all o.k. now. Most people have jobs. Most people that don't either don't need to due to wealth or sponging off the state. But come a recession and people who want jobs won't find one, and the welfare will have to be reformed. I only hope it doesn't get messy with the immigrants when that happens.

I promise you that if the U.S. Mexican border were to be truly closed off, there would be no louder screams of pain heard than from the American business community who ubiquitously hire illegals.
