Well, I have to agree with them in that if they feel it is torture, then they, meaning the UN doesn't have to use them on UN premises.
However, I am sick and tired of them trying to tell everyone else what to do, so like many other things, they can go take a hike as far as I am concerned. Anyone if favor of moving the UN to another country????

Apparently the UN building is another country (or lack of country: it is an international territory).
Surly torture is how you do things and not necessarily what you do. To shoot someone is not normally torture, but it can be adopted as a torture method. If the use of a taser is to temporarily disable someone, then it hardly used for torturous intent. Yet I'm sure I could use pepper spray to torture someone if I wanted to (and had some). |

they can be used as torture devices but so can water, music, and food. Its all in how the device is used. I would rather see individuals put down by tasers than bullets. they stand a very good chance of living.
