With no rain in sight, Gov. Sonny Perdue is looking for a little spiritual help to get North Georgia out of its drought.

Talk about self fulfilling proficiencies. I have a rain dance that is guaranteed to work:; here's how it goes. You start dancing and continue to dance until it starts raining - then I'll say it was the dance. See success guaranteed. Oy Vey!

I think the only sure-fire way to produce rain by mystical means is sympathetic magic. A shaman casts a spell, and at the appropriate moment, everyone in the state makes water on the ground, binding the Cloud Spirits to do likewise.
