Ron Paul's paypal account gets spammed by a few internet kids

To the tune of 3.7 million and counting since this morning.

4 million in one day?

The revolution is now.

Re: Ron Paul's paypal account gets spammed by a few internet kids

He's like a communist. Sounds good, won't work.

I take that back actually, it sounds good until you start looking at how far he is really talking about going. It's funny to see the blank stare on Ron Paul supporter's faces when I ask them if they support the bible in school, naturally (most being atheist) they say no, and then I explain to them that if Ron Paul got his way that is exactly what would happen in many states and counties across the US.

Re: Ron Paul's paypal account gets spammed by a few internet kids

Wow, you're wrong.

Ron Paul sponsored a school prayer initiative, which specifically prohibited government agents in public bodies from:

1. Composing any school prayer ritual or organizing it.
2. Dictating the words or mandating any level of participation.
3. Spend any additional money arranging prayer/worship of any sort.
4. That the United States may not adopt any official religion, ever.
5. That it may not prescribe religious practices or discriminate against someone seeking any benefit of public service due to religious reasons.

So evil! This bill, if passed, would have NOT allowed organized school prayer, because the agents of the federal government were still restricted from mandating, organizing, financing or prescribing participation. It was only the general public who would not be.

I don't know why it is that people like you have to make stuff up on a whim about the man. He's written literally hundreds of articles and several books. Find something he actually said and take issue with it.

Ron Paul is also popular with nazis, skinheads, and other supremacist groups. Don't believe it? Just google on "Ron Paul and nazis".

He supports de-federalizing the the schools. We're having enough trouble getting Kansas from teaching scripture with the feds in place. If Ron Paul enacts his plan there will be nothing to check this kind of unconstitutional influence.

He wants to bring power back to the constitution, but at the same time he wants to take away the Fed's power to enforce it. That is an ignorant plan.

Re: Ron Paul's paypal account gets spammed by a few internet kids

I don’t think I am. You stated that Paul wants to “de-federalize the schools”, I guess implying this was a bad thing. I merely pointed out how terrible the “federalization” of the schools has gone. I think there’s a thread floating around here about the current state of our school system. Not to mention the Federal government has no constitutional authority to fund or regulate schools.

The issues of the current system to not automatically validate the alternative.

Not to group you, but generally this is one of the major issues I have with Paul's apostles. You can point out the flaws of one system, but you can't concretely say anything positive about the system you advocate because it has never been done successfully.

......

Never been done successfully? The United States Department of Education was formed in 1979. You're not seriously suggesting there was no public education in the United States prior to that date are you? Or are you just saying our public school system wasn't successful prior to then? A precarious position to take either way I imagine.

By "generally" I am referring to Ron Paul's general "abolish the fed" stance.

Let me go over this again:

You said

I responded to that with
Quote:
The issues of the current system to not automatically validate the alternative.
Then went on to make another point about the general logic of Ron Paul supporters I have talked to. Sorry if the way I worded it was unclear.

BTW many schools formerly had prayer services, since federalization that practice is no more.
