Romney Wins Iowa's GOP Poll

"Today, the people of this great state sent a message to America, and that is that change begins in Iowa," Romney told an exultant crowd of about 200 supporters after the results were announced

This is too early and meaningless. Our candidate is yet to declare.

Re: Romney Wins Iowa's GOP Poll

LOL he says "A new change is coming" or something like that...what change? He seems to be supporting a similar platform as Bush.

Mitt Romney spent millions of dollars for his 1st place spot. He paid for people to be bussed in. He only beat the second place candidate by less than 2,000 votes.
If this is true...doesn't it flaw the votes at least a little if he's busing people in?

I think this is a better indicator of Ron Paul's progress than how much Mitty and Brownback can spend to get to the top of the polls.

Re: Romney Wins Iowa's GOP Poll

That clip sure makes it sound like FauxNews is pushing a Romeny-Brownback ticket...

Oh, as reported today, Romney's net worth is about $250,000,000. What's yours?

Re: Romney Wins Iowa's GOP Poll

Perhaps he is friends with Fox's CEO?

I just can't find much about Romney I really care much for. I can't really put my finger on it...but there's something that just isn't right. The republicans couldn't stand Clinton, calling him "Slick Willy" ... but Romney seems to be worse...and they love the guy. Perhaps they liken him to a Republican version of Clinton...and with that in mind, believe he could boost their popularity with people as Clinton was a fairly popular president who achieved two terms.
