that's better Xerxes..

I am going to give you a 'break' for various reasons...you do truly appear to be a foreigner who's native language is not english, hence the 'awkwardness' of your wording...being from a different culture, perhaps you have a different natural style of presenting arguments and debating them which is normal for your environment...and finally, since I don't have access to your IP address, I have no way of making any analysis of your supposed location on this planet...cutting to the quick, it appears as if you are what you say you are...

the amount of 'fear' being spread by many governments sickens me...not that I'm surprised that many fall for it...if one pays close attention to what is happening as opposed to what's being 'promised' its obvious there is some agenda behind it all...for an example, if the 'leaders' of my country really gave a flip about the children, then they would be taking actions to leave them something on this planet so that they might be able to survive (oil, fissionables for use in energy producing reactors, usable land for crop growing, etc) into the far future..

you mention the religious right...marvelous, I agree that if they have actually taken time to read Jesus' words they are too stupid to understand them, or they are ignoring them...both of those sentiments are unacceptable for this person...and of course the same can be said of the zealots of both Islam and Zion....

unfortunately, barring a revolution by the citizens of the nations (We The People) there is not much that can be done...the evil ones who have entrenched themselves in positions of power ($=power...story behind my understanding of that thought, but that's not necessary here) are not going to be easily removed as they are in all facets of 'leadership' and certainly will not step down of their own accord...

there is something in the air of the world today, and it doesn't smell nice...a conflagration is almost certain...and the best this individual hopes is that most of the knowledge that has been acquired over the last 2,000 years survives...societies/technology can be rebuilt after a large EMP attack, lost knowlege puts you back at the beginning...

Wow, I have never seen anything so far off... You are obviously spreading anti-Sematic propaganda... Please close this thread. I should add that Xerxes PMed me after the thread was closed. I support the Jewish state, and I believe that it has full rights to exist. In the Bible it says that Persia (Iran) and The Great Bear of The North (Russia), will attack Russia, but he state will never be destroyed. So your "Christian Right" blabbering is dead wrong. No one is abusing the Palestians...

Again, mods, you closed this thread once, and used your judgment to reopen it, and Xerxes abused it, he obviously anti-Sematic, and anti0West

I am not anti west or anti jewish. It is ur conclusions. The jewish state began in a wrong way. i dont deny anyone or any religion, it is morally wrong to take someone land and say it is yours. it is a sin to to proclaim that israel has the more rights than palestine people. all are humans and no one is any better. Above all, one who believes in god must undrstand what is right and wrong. Claiming I am antisdemitic and anti west is absolutely incorrect, one must have opinions and feelings for those people who from other background. I am a jew for justice and against wrong thoughts and acrimonious ideas.

one must have belief in his ideas and conviction and must stay that course.
# Peace in the Middle East will only come about with mutual recognition and respect and must be seen as just by both sides.
# Peace requires the end of illegal occupation and settlement.
# Violence against civilians is unacceptable.
# Israel's policies in the West Bank and Gaza are breeding hatred and resentment.
# It is crucial that Jews speak out for Palestinians' human rights.

Justice, justice, you shall pursue (Deuteronomy 16:20).

try going back ~2,600 years...and note that in Athens all citizens were pretty much required to take part of the governing process...Rome only compares to America in the aspect of a 'republic'...doh..and of course greed and corruption....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Athenian_democracy

going back further one can trace democracy's real roots to ancient Sumeria

DEOMCRACY:
History is full of surprises. Ppl have brought different methods of government throughout the human history. In other words, just because something seems obvious today does not mean it will be true tomorrow. Muslims today groan under dictatorships, but one day could be model democrats.

Thanks for the info, I was just trying to recall from memory, I haven't read much Roman history lately and am a little shaky. Sure I would agree that greed and corruption are prevolent in American politics, at every level, and every party.

Didn't Winston Churchill say something like democracy isn't perfect, it's just the best I know of...

I know I just butchered his quote.

Anti semitism ? what is it ? and why is is not proper to use it falsely?

In European societies where the population was primarily Christian, Jews found themselves increasingly isolated as outsiders. Jews do not share the Christian belief that Jesus is the Son of God, and many Christians considered this refusal to accept Jesus' divinity as arrogant.

Throughout history Jews have faced constant prejudice and discrimination, known as antisemitism. Driven nearly two thousand years ago by the Romans from the land now called Israel, they spread throughout the globe and tried to retain their unique beliefs and culture while living as a minority.

What i have written is not even close to antisemitiscm ?

The start of "Semitism" was not essentially different from the demonic conception of the Jew that had existed in Christian Europe for centuries. It was boiled down to this: Jews are a people apart from the rest of humanity. They are the enemy. Wherever they go, they form a state within a state. Conspiring in secret, they work together to promote their own collective advantage at the expense of the nations or societies in whose midst they dwell and on whom they prey. Cunning and manipulative, they possess uncanny powers that enable them, despite their small numbers, to achieve their ends..................................................................................

these were definitions of the first anti semitiscm. jews were the first to witness this kind of hatred that no other race has witnessed before in europe etc

I'm sorry if I misinterpreted what you said. I believe now that you are not any-semitic...

Was anti-semitism in East and Northern (non-Arab) Asia prejudice against Arabs? (As described in Nikolai Gogol's "Dead Souls")

WHAT!?!? I asked you a question! You really need to learn English, I do not mean this offensively, but there is a strong language barrier between us and I can't figure out how to get past it.
