as far as I know, I haven't voted in this poll...why?, because I don't care if Jesus walked on water or not...nor do I really care if he even existed...what I do care about are the words attributed to having come from his mouth...they are very radical words that basically present the hypocrisy of the time (applicable to here and now IMHO) and present a way of thinking that is IMHO being ignored by the majority of today's Christians...

Aha, but this isn't a Bush bash thread. It's ok if you don't get it, someone will pray for you anyways.

His words are as true today as they were back then. Many of the social laws have since become obsolete, but his the message God sent through him is still relevant.

Why do I believe he did those things? Because he had the power to. Now whether all the miracles mentioned in the Bible were physically performed and not simply the use outward forms and symbols used to convey abstract ideas and events is another mater. But like the issue of "what is the good of him today" that is a mater for a different thread.

Richard Dawkins, perhaps the world leader in evolutionary biology visits the bible belt in America and questions Ted Haggard. Haggard clearly gets owned, and gets a bit out of control towards the end.
