Help Please
Hello All,
First I want to thank everyone for letting me join this awesome forum! I hope to learn as well as share information! I started a PC Service company named Comp-U-Doc as so far I am doing ok for a new company. I do have a question to start off with. I am in search of a GOOD maintenance contract for bi weekly and monthly. If anyone has one or can point me into that direction I would really appreciate the help! Thank you all and I look forward to being a part of this forum! Thanks Terry |

Re: Help Please
If you put "legal contract" in a search engine you will get lots of sites with advice on what should be in a contract.
I've also seen basic contract fill-in-the-blank- forms at office supply stores. Since laws vary depending on where you are, you would be better off getting local help for the legalese. If you're looking for advice on what to cover, think about what your clients will need, how much time doing those things will take, how much replacement parts will cost, and the sort of tools you will need to have on hand (including their depreciation value). Next think of a worst-case scenario and make sure your contract doesn't leave you hung out to dry. Make sure you have an out so if your client refuses to follow your advice, you can charge for fixing any problems created by the client's failure. BUT make sure your restrictions aren't too difficult to follow. - Sure, it's nice to prohibit downloading to minimize infection risks, but clients will need to be able to download work-related materials, including some software. You know your area of expertise better than I do, so think about your CYA language carefully.

Thank you for your advice but I really need a standard contract for preventive Maintenance.
