Lycos Sidesearch?!

I keep getting Lycos Sidesearch installed on my computer and I really have no idea how it keeps getting there. I will uninstall it, but it seems to reinstall itself a few days down the road. I just don't get this.

Spybot doesn't pick it up and I cannot find any information on it other than general information on the program itself.

Now today, I noticed that it put itself back when I rebooted after deleting spyware from the registry.

Is this weird or what? Is this thing unsolicited ad stuff??

Search through your cookies and if you find it in there delete it.

And if your running XP enable show hidden files and folders and make sure you look in C:\Documents and settings,Your Name, Local Settings and Temporary Internet Files.
