Newbie's first posting

This is in response to the invitation to make a first posting.
Having looked over the postings and responses I expect to gain a lot from being here.
I think, for newbies, a glossary of the acronyms and abbreviations would be helpful. eg; What is a Copa user? What does FJT stand for?
And a dictionary would help too. What is polled in a poll? What is a thread
subscription? What is parsing a link?

A dictionary would be a good thing to have here. And thanks to the dynamic nature of electronic documentation it'd be easy to update and ammend.

On that idea - it's something I've seen at http://www.vbaexpress.com. Key words are highlighted a different colour and holding the mouse over the word pops up a tool tip type of box with an explanation of the word in question.

Just a thought.
