Question about process

hello,
I have a recently resolved thread and would like to open another asap. I attempted to open them together and the second was shut down. so now that the first is resolved, can I ask for assistance with a separate issue, a separate machine? It appears that at the moment I cannot open a new thread. Please advise.

Thank you,
Aw

Re: Question about process

Have you marked the original solved thread as 'Solved' (The 'Thread Tools' button at the top of the thread)? Otherwise, the only limit that I'm aware of, is the 30 seconds between posts.

Perhaps another TSFer can help enlighten this issue....

Re: Question about process

I've no idea what all those restrictions mean, but I can see them as well and they don't stop me from posting new threads or replying, so try clicking the New Thread button if you have another problem you need help with.

It's because your thread has been moved to the "resolved hijackthis threads" section which is a section where no-one is supposed nor allowed to post. You can create a new thread in any of the other sections.
