[SOLVED] Edit posts

I wasn't sure if this was the right place or not, if it isn't then please move it to it's appropriate forum.

I was just requesting an "edit" button beside your posts, because I find myself wanting to edit posts quite a bit but I'm unable too. It gets annoying.

Re: [REQUEST] Edit posts

There is an edit button, right next to 'Quote'.
However, I believe there is a 30 minute 'grace period' that you are allowed to edit in. After that it's locked.
Also, you cannot edit after another member has posted after you.

Re: [REQUEST] Edit posts

That's ridiculous, can you think of one good reason for that option? Every single forum I've been to has not had that option. How strange.

Re: [REQUEST] Edit posts

Tiber is correct - you have 30 minutes in which to edit. Why do think that's ridiculous? Can you imagine every user editing all their posts? At least this way, we know what was said at the time. Most forums of which I'm a member operate in exactly the same way.

Strange. I don't recall any doing that.

Okay, Thanks.

If it is an essential edit, you can always PM a Mod or Manager with the details and they can do a correction for you if needs be.
