Evil Complaint on Networking Support

Not sure where to post my complaint so...

I think the support on the Networking Support forums are rather poor. Its been a week since I posted my issue and the only thing I got back was

"Actually, the static IP isn't doing anything, static configurations always say they're connected.

What's the EXACT symptoms when you try to connect wirelessly?"

After my response I havent had a singe response, also when looking at other posts with similar wireless problems I see no response to those posts!

If this site doesnt support wireless then hell, just say so... dont let us post and never get any response!!!2

Re: Complaint on Networking Support

If I had to pay for this kind of support Id have to shoot myself!!!

The response that I got today on my post is the preffered response and would have saved me alot of time if that was the response that I got in the first place.

Thank you, know I have a place to start.

Re: Complaint on Networking Support

We all have our own lives. We all don't live on our PC's.

Sometimes, our real lives take us away from TSF for awhile, so we are not able to provide support all the time.

Patience is a virtue.

I don't have a life, I live on my PC. In spite of that I can't answer every question that runs though this forum, and some of them I just don't care to. It's my choice, I'm not getting paid for this.

Not to be rude (that's against the rules) but you might take a few big steps back from being so arrogant and biting the hand that feeds you, and click the link at the top of the page that says: View Posts > New Posts. You just do this every 30 minutes today and watch how many new posts there are, not to mention the amount of follow up.

8 hours form now, add up all the posts that the members reply to and figure the time it takes to properly research and respond to these, then multiply by 3. every 24 hours these are a voracious amount of post to read and follow upon.

Just my 2 cents.

Just some interesting numbers for you to ponder

Now myself, I post about 20 posts a day on average, half of those are to helping out. The people looking for help far outnumber the people helping. Some of us helping may have plenty knowledge but can only really and truly help about 2 people with complicated problems out. In between we might help a few with minor problems.
We don't say we know everything, but instead of moaning about not getting helped, why not see if you can assist, or even just read an learn. Google your problem a bit, maybe pick up some useful tips that might help you in future.
Even i need to do that once in a while!
Many tech support sites charge for the info we are providing, so if you feel we are not helpful enough, you can always pay for an unguaranteed solution

Re: Complaint on Networking Support

The amusing part is, after the complaining, he never came back to the thread!

Re: Complaint on Networking Support

so "you're only able to get on the net when you're supposed to be working ???" .. that's how we lost internet access where I am working .. some idiot got caught doing exactly the same thing ( NOT ME!!!)

so lets see now .. I leave for work at 8am, get back home around 7 pm .,., need to eat & sleep, fix stuff indoors whilst studying and cleaning up .. I do TRY to make a few posts before going to bed, like now, and funny thing is that most of what I can tell people is found on other sites on the net anyway .. Google certainly is my first port of call when I want to confirm my suspicions about a problem.
