Start-up Issues

Maybe it's more work for you guys but considering the amount of start-up issues people seem to have I thought it might be worth have a seperate forum for it. Or at least a stickey with possible helps does and don't etc. "Start-up Issues - Try these steps before posting" Something like that.

Been thingking of it for a while so I just thought i would mention it.

Thanks for all the support and help.

Mack

Re: Start-up Issues

Good idea. Just a thought - would this be some kind of guide that would be better placed as a sticky at the top of the MS Forums? I'm thinking that there may be a reluctance to create a new forum....

Re: Start-up Issues

Yes, that would work. Its aparent that many problems with start-up could be easily prevented by making boot disks and start-up disks. If the message was put across of the importance of this including some helpfull tips for fixing startup errors then maybe it might be helpful and less time consuming for tech's in the long run. just a cursory look at the xp forum would suggest that start-up issues are one of the most regular problem experianced by users next to malware.

As I say. It's just a thought.

Re: Start-up Issues

Have you any thoughts as to what should go in such a guide and if so, how about writing one?
