Requesting New Threads Please

Hello Admin,

Can I please request that you add a new thread for ISP's?

For example, in Australia there are Optus, Telstra, Internode etc.

Can you please add a section so we can talk about ISP issues?

Thank you for your consideration.

P.S Can you also please lower the wait time for searches? It is currently set for 60 seconds, and many times I get a message saying I need to wait for the 60 seconds to be up.

Re: Requesting New Threads Please

Can you please also include an "EDIT" option so we can go back and edit what we wrote if we need to? Thanks

Re: Requesting New Threads Please

I keep getting a message like this, which is so annoying that it makes me consider leaving this forum for another:

"This forum requires that you wait 60 seconds between searches. Please try again in 45 seconds."

Can this be lowered please?

This in place to stop people from making to many searches at once and making the server/database crash

Hi Truthseeker,

If you are having ISP issues, just post your problem in a thread in the Networking Forum in the Networking Support Section.

However, if it is a specific issue about Optusnet™; they are my ISP, so PM me and I might be able to help.

Kind Regards,

Ok thank you. It just would have been nice to have a thread for that so I can read about all the latest plans, latest peoples experiences etc.

Dear Admin, when I click on "my posts" and then click on a message link that I write, it doesn't take me to my message, instead it takes me to the top of the webpage, so I then have to scroll down and locate my last message that I posted.

Any way to add a new code to the posts where it not only takes us to the page we wrote a message, but it also jumps down to our message?

There is NO "Edit" option in the Comments and Announcements Forum (this one).

Not sure if this is of any help or not as I am unsure if you are referring to current active threads in which someone has just posted a reply to your post or not - but the setting for email notification in the User Contol Panel, set options will send an email to you and depending on the number of reply posts since yours - clicking on that link will then take you to the new post made just after your last one.

Regards. . .

JC

Instead of clicking the thread title in bold, click the Re: title below it to go straight to your post.
