problem with [resolved]

It lets anyone hit it, and someone might hit it without the problem being successfully resolved. I accidently hit it earlier just to see what it was, I was able to solve the problem (simple question about firewalls), but if I hadn't it still would have said it was resolved.

just thinking it would be better if only the one who started the thread could say whether it was resolved or not...if there is even a way for you to do this.

elf does make a valid point...I just recently noticed the option and just assumed that only the originator could actually resolve the thread...

I've noticed that it only happens in certain threads. Maybe the problem is isolated to a certain group of forums?

Perhaps it applies to all threads started after a given date?

I think it works when either you started the post or were the last to reply to one.
