no help here

Hello,

I'm not sure where to go at this point. I had put posted to the hijack this forum about a month ago and have never received a response (other than from myself ofcourse! which is the thanx I get for following the rules!).

I thought perhaps that my question was just extraordinarily lame, but when I read other postings, I saw that I was in good company.

Anyone have any suggestions for how I could get better help here in the future...I think it's too late now for that posting. If I have unwelcome company on my system, then they now have all my sensitive info as tis the season to spend.

I read a lot about asking for members to be considerate, but I haven't read anything about members getting no response at all.

Re: no help here

We try to get to all of the threads that are posted here, but it is a difficult task since 100% of our members participate as volunteers. It is unfortuante that some threads get missed. Typically our security team is pretty good about catching the threads that have no responces.

In the future, post with your problem, wait 72 hours, if no one has responded, reply to your own thread with a *bump*. Most of all I would say just be patient, we are trying, but tend to get overwhelmed, especially around holidays when people start to go on vacation.
