finally, it seems we were in quicksand at 113,000 for the longest time.

did you know you will never sink past your stomach in quicksand (unless you are flailing like a maniac)? and all you need to do to get out is pour water around your legs.

i'll have to remember to carry several gallons of water with me the next time i decide to walk in quicksand.
