Just realised I hadn't posted a blog entry for a couple of days - what's the point of a blog if you don't post?

It's too early for Xmas decorations - there's nothing worse than seeing Xmas trees in houses in November! We'll do ours later, probably on the 15th/16th. My wife wants a new tree , but I've convinced her to wait for the sales.

Well, we did go to Casualty, but no X-ray. They don't X-ray for ribs! After some prodding the doctor decided that, at worst, my wife perhaps had a hairline fracture. And that was that. She would have been better attending the TSF Surgery.

BTW, Christmas is nearly here....just thought I would depress everyone.

I can't believe I'm now doing this - writing a blog, that is.

Tomorrow might be more interesting - may have to take my wife to hospital for an x-ray. She fell at the backdoor steps and thinks she may have cracked a rib. Local GP merely said take some pain killers - don't you just love the NHS?

Let's hope we have more luck at the hospital....

The Fog was an old John Carpenter film and not related to this movie (or story, as far as I'm aware). The Fog was also the first novel by British horror writer James Herbert - an excellent read - and no monsters! The only monsters Herbert describes are human beings themselves...

.....I think. I don't usually read blogs (don't have time) so I guess this is something of a first.

Why anyone would want to read my insane ramblings is beyond me but....

Just found out the other day that a new film, called The Mist, is one I have been hoping someone would make for years. It's based on a Stephen King short story and I think it's one of his best. I still get shivers when I read it. Looks like I'll have to go and see it on my own though - my wife...
