So I was just scanning through the Battle.net forums and I came across a thread made by Bashiok (A Blizzard Employee) asking what members would like to see in the upcoming Diablo II patch.
What the?
LOD was released June 2001. They are already working on a sequel. Yet they are releasing content patches?
Big +Karma to Blizzard there. Most devs will promise big content patches before the game is released, then won't even release a single damn patch to fix all the bugs.
But to be releasing new content 8 years after the game has been released is fantastic.
It makes me feel all warm and tingly inside.

yea I love Blizzard for their awesome support and ongoing patching efforts of games.
look at their track record
WoW = lots of money and people LOVE the game
Starcraft = fun
Diablo 2 = FUN!

Blizzard are cool, they make fun games - but they are inclined to be a bit lazy.
Sure they are releasing content patches 8 years down the track, but if players say they want a new boss monster, Blizzard will probably just pallette shift Diablo, make him pink with purple polka dots and up his stats and say there you go, new boss monster!Posted 07-02-2009 at 11:26 PM by Lord Sirian
