Big +Karma to Blizzard there. Most devs will promise big content patches before the game is released, then won't even release a single damn patch to fix all the bugs.
But to be releasing new content 8 years after the game has been released is fantastic.

It makes me feel all warm and tingly inside.

Among other things, it will include 11 new multiplayer maps, plus 8 maps from the first bonus pack. Two new game modes, new vehicles and 2 new playable characters, Kana and Nova.

The game now also has full Steam integration so it benefits from Steams' automatic updates and Steam Community features. The expansion will also add 57 Steam achievements.

To make things a little interesting, they will also include a new mutator that makes players 15 feet tall and grants them every power up available once they reach a certain frag limit.

And it's all free!!!
As the local PC guru you're probably very used to friends and family asking for help with their computer problems, yet having no idea how to clearly describe what's going on. It's frustrating, but Microsoft feels your pain, and Windows 7 will include an excellent new solution in the Problem Steps Recorder.

When any app starts misbehaving under Windows 7 then all your friends need do is click Start, type PSR and press [Enter], then click Start Record. If they then work through whatever they're doing then the Problem Steps Recorder will record every click and keypress, take screen grabs, and package everything up into a single zipped MHTML file when they're finished, ready for emailing to you. It's quick, easy and effective, and will save you hours of troubleshooting time.

So, decided to play a quick game of Left 4 Dead this morning.
Jumped into a random game, only to take over from a bot that had 1 pistol, the hunting rifle and 18HP.
I decided to make the best of it, and continued playing.

We were about halfway through the Death Toll campaign, at the Train yard where you have to move the rail car. So we all got on top of one car while somebody activated the car that attracts the horde.

There was this one moron I think he was called Hunter, kept meleeing me for no reason. I told the guy to cut it out, but he just kept meleeing me. Meanwhile my two other teammates were dealing with the horde + boomers + smokers and I'm doing my best to take out what I can with just the pistol (I hate the hunting rifle).

So we survive that just barely. It's hard to aim when somebody keeps pushing you around >:(

Later on in that same level, we start the next stage from the safe house. So at this point I have no health, I grab one health kit and heal up. By the time I finished this, there was one kit left. Everybody else had 70 - 90 HP and they all had health kits and pills, so I grab the last health kit as I need it most.
Hunter goes ballistic. He starts spamming the voice command thing going 'Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh' for about 10 minutes, meleeing me and spamming the chat saying I took his health kit. Even though he already had one.

In the end I grabbed my Auto Shotty, pumped a few loads into his face and Rage Quit.

Why must people act like this? Did I do something wrong, because from my point of view I was well within my right to take the kit.
It's because of people like this that I rarely play online with people I don't know.
