Rants, raves, and general ramblings from a 26 year-old computer technician and gamer.

Some of this weblog may include me going off about my job as a tech support specialist for TimeWarner Cable. Other times I may be singing praises about the latest new release from Valve. There may be periods of complete silence countered by large brain dumps that occur at regular intervals.

I wanted to be a doctor.

I'm an uncle

Posted 10-04-2008 at 12:15 PM by ebackhus

According to my girlfriend and my mother. My girlfriend's twin sister gave birth yesterday at 5:01am to a boy, named Darren Edward Jackson.

I want to kill the child's father, but don't really harbor emnity towards the child himself.

It hardly ever happens, but a real jerk can change into a good person over time depending upon who they are married to and who comes into and out of their space. And, of course; luck.

This does not apply to addicts.

Not this guy. He's too far gone to be brought back.

Seems a shame really. I find it hard to give up on people and it usually takes something really mindblowing to put me off them. This guy really must be an ar se.

I'd tell you a few thigns he's done but this is a family forum. Let's just say that some of it could cause him to be killed if he were ever put in jail.

I catch your drift. Ive met some unsavoury characters in my time, some of which I was friends with, but its not worth the contagious trouble that comes with it. Avoidance is my only tactic now. Hopefully your girlfriends sister will see past the blindness of love....someday...
