To cry, or not to cry...

...that is the question. It's raining. That's a good thing, as we have been in a really bad drought. In fact, we have had over 30% of the yearly total to date fall today. Pretty sad. I remember when we used to have rainy days like this many many times in the winter. Now we only get one or two. Now the bad thing, I was going to go on a hike with some church friends, but they cancelled it because of the rain. Not only does that sadden me, but one of my friends too. She was really looking forward to getting out and seeing the country. She's not from here, so this was a chance for her to see something new. But it washed away. Some other day I hope. But this does give me the chance to goto the local community college and check out a hamfest. What's a hamfest you ask? Well, think of it as a swapmeet for amateur radio operators. We'll see if I feel up to it, or get up early enough for it. But they will be giving away some new radios as door prizes. And they will be holding a class on something of interest to me. I may just go down there after all.
