A night off, at last...

Posted 08-27-2008 at 05:22 PM by stressfreesoul

Granny has taken the baby, cos me and the missus are close to killing eachother from lack of sleep/headaches/stress.
It was supposed to be a night off, but ended up getting called out to replace a power supply that decided to catch aflame. Got back to find her asleep and the cat sat on her head. Quite comical. Wish I had got a picture of it.

I'd like to get married soon but I have no sense of urgency in regards to becoming a parent.

We were the opposite, we see no need to marry as we know we are made for eachother but felt it was best to have a sprog now so we are still able to cope with the physically demanding side of it. Unluckily for her, my partners mother is also pregnant, at 40 years old. Shes a walking example of how hard it can be.
Where most people think its best to wait until you have a stable home and a career etc, I dont feel like Im held back by my status. So regardless of how daunting a prospect might be, Im the type to just do it and, most of the time, gain massive self satisfaction from it. Seems a shame that whilst I have all this self confidence, I have little social confidence.
