Over what time period, or does it not matter?

In other words, if a person maintains the attention of another person for greater than three hours on any given day, is that Technology?

Or, if a person maintains the attention of another for greater than three hours on any given day over a pre-set time span, is that Technology?

Additionally, in a material world have we also become comfortable with the idea of being considered objects that are to be used? Are we looking at a used-user dyad, or other combination of thereof?

You have an interesting outlook on the world. I look forward to the clarification.
