Machine wont start (B&S 16hp)
OK started it up with the choke on and it ran fine
Switched it off then tried starting it again 2 mins later and it wont start the starter just keeps turning and turning and turning and all I can heat is a popping nose coming from under the air filter as the pistons turn round or like a back firing nose |

Re: Machine wont start (B&S 16hp)
She sounded like she was turning fine and from what I saw you got spark a few times what I recommend doing is:
Dump about 100ml of gas down the carb and crank her over a few times if she starts you may only need to clean the carb. If she doesn't start pull both the plugs (check to see if spark plugs are wet with gas) keep the wires attached crank her over and see if your getting spark if your getting spark and she still wont turn over have someone do a compression test.
