john deere mower won't start
I have a 2007 John Deere X300 riding lawn mower with a Kawaski engine. The mower is great but it seems to have a sticky solonoid that prevents it from being started. I have replaced the solonoid once and it worked fine for 3 months. Last night we had the same problem. I can get it started if I rock the machine back and forth with the footpedal in the forward position after repeated attempts. Sometimes it works fine, it is just annoying and unpredictable. Does anyone know if the solonoids are defective or is there something I need to do to prevent it from sticking? Thanks for the help.
