Roketa off road go cart will only idle

I have a 250cc roketa off road go kart that will only Idle, and that only for a little while. The problem started with the original carb. I got a new carb on warranty. The kart ran ok for about 2 weeks and this carb did the same thing. It will start and idle, as soon as I touch the throttle it stalls. I've drained the gas tank, put in clean gas. I've taken the carb apart, cleaned all the passages & jets. New fuel filter. It also starts and idles better when it is cold, once it has idled for a while it will stall and not start again untill it sits for a while. It never runs long enough to really warm up. It is a kehein carb. The company I purchased the kart from is no longer in business.

Any ideas or solutions will be greatly appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the forum

Check the vent in the gas tank. Or you try to run it with gas cap really loose.

Tried it with the cap off. Same thing.

Also try it without the air filter. and also check to make sure that the chock does open up when it should, and that it isn't partly closed.

Aside from that, I would make sure it is getting a spark and getting gas (maybe bad gas filter).
