Compression release on vanguard v-twin
I have been fighting a starting problem for months and have cleared all electrical problems. The starter will not turn engine over but a new starter has been checked by an independant starter rebuild shop. Also a new battery, new contactor, and all electrical connects have been cleaned. I have been reading on other post about problems with compression release on other models. Has anyone had this problem with the Vanguard V-Twin engine. I plan to adjust valves as soon as I can get gaskets. Any advice will be appreciated.

Re: Compression release on vanguard v-twin
It would be better to continue this thread than start a new one:
Vanguard engine starter lockup The compression release is a valve issue I believe. BG |
