B&S ELS725 24hp engine trouble...
Hi,
I have a husky mower with an els725 24hp b&s engine that has loss of power and has an unusual sound i can't describe, sounds like its back firing but not as loud, i think it is blowing back through the intake. anyway, I pulled the plugs, the right side is greyish white and clean, the left side is black but there isn't any build up. I checked spark and both plugs fire the same. I pulled the left plug out and the engine runs the same.... I pulled the right plug out and it won't start. I did a compression test and i'm getting 155 on the right and 170 on the left. seems ok i guess. I can't figure it out. Any ideas? |
