13.5 intek B&S

I have a riding mower with a 13.5 B&S intek.

It runs for about 30 minutes and the blows a big cloud of white smoke.

I can let the mower sit and cool off and it will run fine for another 20 or 30 minutes and the blows more smoke.

The oil level was correct, but when this initally happened I was cutting a steep ditch.

Re: 13.5 intek B&S

Hi and welcome to the forum

Please go here and look up the engine, it will also show you how to find the model Number:

Maybe a bad crank case beather. Cleaning it may work OK.

Re: 13.5 intek B&S

The model number is 21B977.

I pulled the head and the head gasket appears to be in good shape.

The crank case breather was connected, but did have oil in it.
