John Deere JS63 Blade Control Lever

I have a John Deere JS63 21" walk behind mower, that stopped running at the correct RPM. Now it's not as loud and seams to stall even in short normal grass. I have replaced the spark plug and have narrowed it down to the Blade Control Lever linkage or what looks like a coil attached to the spark plug cable. I am trying to find the right parts diagrams and if anyone knows of anything else to try. The mower is 6yrs old and I used it last week. Engine S/N
YBSXS1901VE275078. Thanks for your help
