Did i fry my new mower?? Help!

Ran it for first time without substantial amount of oil. Overheated - smoked - seized. Pull cord won't budge. I drained what little oil was in it and refilled with qt. that came with it. Did I completely ruin it or can it be fixed?

Hi and welcome to the forum

Anything, generally, can be fixed given enough money. Yes you have destroyed the engine if you can't pull the cord. A new engine probably would be cheaper than total rebuild.

You don't say what kind of mower you bought, it could be cheaper just to buy another mower.

I am sure you understand the importance of reading the directions before using it.
