Did i fry my new mower?? Help!
Ran it for first time without substantial amount of oil. Overheated - smoked - seized. Pull cord won't budge. I drained what little oil was in it and refilled with qt. that came with it. Did I completely ruin it or can it be fixed?

Re: Did i fry my new mower?? Help!
Hi and welcome to the forum
![]() Anything, generally, can be fixed given enough money. Yes you have destroyed the engine if you can't pull the cord. A new engine probably would be cheaper than total rebuild. You don't say what kind of mower you bought, it could be cheaper just to buy another mower. I am sure you understand the importance of reading the directions before using it. BG |
