I have a 2002 John Deere L120 with 149 hours and a 20HP B&S engine. The engine will not stay running for an extended period of time. I can start it, let it run to warm up from 3 minutes to 15 minutes, then start mowing. I can mow for 2-10 minutes then the motor shuts down. No sputtering, no revving, it just dies. Almost like I just shut off the ignition. I am stumped!
I have changed the gas cap, replaced the fuel lines, changed the plugs, replaced the air filter, replaced the belt, new battery, new gas filter, replaced the gas, and new fuel pump. I am stuck here. If anyone can shed some insight, I would greatly appreciate it! Tim Last edited by that's nice; 05-01-2009 at 02:47 PM. |
