Wont Start
I had a good engine that ran great on an older rider mower.I switched that engine with a newer rider and now I cant get it to start. It's not getting spark.I hooked the two wires coming under the flywheel to the connection that is on the new rider. It matches up but there is a yellow wire on the other side of the motor that goes to the control where the throttle is.There is a fitting on there and I have a wire coming from the ignition switch but when I hooked them up it wont start.I unhooked them and same thing.
Is there supposed to be voltage on the wire coming out of the engine that goes to the throttle connection?I have voltage coming from the two wire connection that goes under the flywheel but the other wire on the other side has me puzzeled. |
