Tecumseh H80 modify to electric start

This engine is attached to a generator and due to old age and a shoulder injury I cannot pull the starter any more. I purchased the manual a few years ago and every drawing in the manual shows a starter ring. I purchased a starter motor, dismantled the pull starter and cowling to find that the flywheel does not have a starter ring. Is it possible to obtain a starter ring for this engine or does it need a new flywheel. I am retired and am unable to consider purchasing a new engine as this is a fairly lightly used engine and I am quite capable of dismantling and fitting any parts.
