B&S 21hp was running then quit no compression
B&S 21 hp intek in a troy bilt mower. running fine till it sounded like I hit something like a stone but there was nothing under the mower. engine quit. when trying to restart it sounds like the engine is free running but will not catch. Took out one spark plug and put finger in hole to see if there was compression while turning over the engine. could easily hand turn the engine but felt no compression at the spark plug hole. Is there a sheer pin or key on the shaft that might have broken? If so where is it and how can I change it?
