Tecumseh HH70 ( no firepower )
How can I adjust the spacing between the mag and the flywheel magnets ?
The mag has 2 slotted mounting holes, but, the whole thing rotates off of the crank. If I rotate it,isn't the spacing gonna stay the same ? On other engines, they adjust up or down. I fired the engine up before I bought it and when I got home,no luck. I can barely get a shock off the wire ! Having a gap of about .010 (mag to flywheel) would cause it to put out a good spark, right ? It's got a new solenoid ! First,I want some spark, then.I'll re-time it ! I got that part down ! Help this ol guy ! Thanks ! |
