no fire
Have a bs-8hp. Just rebuilt with new piston,valves,gaskets. Engine has new plug with spark from coil, with either gas or starting fluid there is no firing in the cylinder.Double checked valve clearance,and timing marks.Help! bsrepair

have you double checked the timing marks between the crank and cam gear.

Are you saying that the plug fires if you have it out of the plug hole, but there's no firing once you screw it down tight?
