Hey guys. I got a MTD yard machines snowblower, and i wsa wondering if i could use that engine in a go kart?
![]() The motor is a Tecumseh HSK 600-1627S. I dont know if that helps, but...... Here's what i dont get though. It's a 2 stroke, but it doesnt have an expansion chamber pipe. It just has one that sits on the side. And could i put an expansion chamber pipe on it? Would i have to re jet the carb? I HAVE NO CLUEE!!!!! AHHAAGAHA! ![]() any help is appreciated. thanks. I suppose you can, may just depend on how handy you are.
Too many variables to try to answer. Generally I think most 2 cyc snow blowers are probably going be about 3 HP, thats pretty small. I suggest you find some thing like a 5 HP BS 4 cycle engine. BG
