2005 chevy cavalier electrical issues
my 05 cavalier (chevy) is having electrical issues. the dome light keeps randomly coming on and the stock alarm will randonly go off. anyone know whats wrong and i can do to fix it?

Just a wild and crazy guess:
The dome light may be tied in with the alarm system causing the light to come on. It sounds like one (or more) sensor is a little too sensitive and needs readjusted or replaced. Climate may be a factor if temps are geting cooler and symptoms show up at night. Rodents, and even cats, seek the warmth and/or protection provided by the vehicle and may set the alarm off if motion or infrared sensors are present. If the sensors are mechanical (door mounted) check for loose or corroded connections. Good luck, SABL
