Question Subaru Fuel Pump

Hi all, I've got a 97 Subaru Legacy and I've got a fuel supply problem. I'm fairly new to diy car repair, and am having a hard time finding the fuel pump relay and also the valve that I've used in the past for checking the fuel pressure. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Subaru Fuel Pump

Hi kbuck94

The fuel pump relay is located above the fuse box panel. The relay is not visibly seen, so to get access you will have to unscrew the box so there will be a little more elbow room to work. Once you get access, you will see three plugs that are cylindrical in shape, the relay is green in color. Be careful when removing the relay, turn it 180 degrees to the right to twist it off and then disconnect the plug. Use a DVOM to to test the relay.

post back your findings.
