hi i have a abs light problem my brother replaced my front brakes a couple of weeks ago and the abs light is still coming on but this is the second time that i felt hesitation in my brakes and a strange noise like something was dragging or about to fall off my car. my friend followed me home from work and i didn't hear it anymore what might be the problem?:

You'll need to hook it up to a scan tool to retrieve the code causing the light to come, The noise is most likely something different.

the abs light only cares about the abs unit. Changing the brake pads won't do anything for it.
As wrench said, it ends to be scanned to see what codes there is. Usually auto parts stores will do this for free. But that is only if the car is 95 (some models) or 96 and newer. If it is 95 or below, usually you can get the codes without a scanner. It would just depend on the make and model of the car. |

Make, Model and year of the Car?
Is the noise coming from the front or the back? If you feel it's brake related pull all 4 wheels and have a look at all the components. |
