Heater/76 Mercedes
Having problems with my heater on a 76 Mercedes 280;
Ok all switches,blower & that work,but cant get air flow on heater.I turn on the ac blows out right.Turn on heater & no air flow.The blower is on ,but just no flow. Can anyone help?????? |

Hi chub
Remove the panel where the switch to the heater control is. Locate the heater box and find the air duct pathway. Check if any cables are loose, broken and see if the duct doors are working properly. If memory serves; the front grille , right side instrument panel, and a tube have to be removed to gain access to the motor. Once the motor is in view, you can see where the air flow pathway is and can effect repair as needed. post back your findings. Last edited by octaneman; 10-01-2009 at 02:03 PM. |
