Cool S-10 ABS Brakes

I have had my ABS and Brake warning lights come on and stay on.Have already bled the system.Lights stayed out for about tow weeks, then came on again, with no change in brake function. Turned key off pumped pedal a couple of times and restarted.Lights stayed out.Next day ok till late after noon. Any body seen this,or have some info?

Re: S-10 ABS Brakes

Did you say the "brake" warning light was also on? That is usually an indication of loss of pressure in one of the circuits due to a leak or bad master cylinder. If so, you may not have an issue with the ABS system but just a good ole fashioned brake problem.

Re: S-10 ABS Brakes

Have someone pull the codes on the ABS - I've seen some GM products turn both lights on to indicate a problem in the ABS systems.
