Question 98 ford escort clicking noise

Hi, my moms car (98 ford escort) keeps making a clicking noise from the front left wheel. It just started around two days ago. She said she had not hit any pot holes or anything hard lately. If you can give me any suggestions to what it is it would help a bunch. Thanks.

Re: 98 ford escort clicking noise

Does it get louder when making a turn?
If it has hub caps remove left front to make sure there is not a stone or other road debris in there.

Re: 98 ford escort clicking noise

We got a ton of rain in PA. The clicking stopped when it was wet out, but it started when dry. I'll check all of the stuff you guys said thanks.
