Cry jeep dying on me while driving

i have a 95 jeep wrangler and while i am driving it just dies and i pull over on the side of the road to wait and try to start it again. it does so after a few minutes but beforehand it like changes to neutral and then dies. i have changed the fuel pump, carbeurator, throttle position sensor, relays for asd,,fuel pump and it runs fine for days then starts again with shutting down. people have told me to replace the idle air control valve or the crankshaft position sensor and i am waiting for them to come in. what do you think could be the problem. i am tearing my hair out. i am on a fixed income so its hard to get it fixed by a shop. my son-in-law has been doing all the work for me with no labor costs. please any help would be appreciated. it's got a 2.5 ltr. engine 5 speed and a 97 transmission in it.

Re: jeep dying on me while driving

I dont get the change to neutral thing. Standard tranny and just shifts
itself to neutral?
A flakey coil can cause your problem. Heats up, vehicle dies, cools
down all is good...
