How much do you think a trans cost for 98breeze

hello

iv got a 98 Plymouth breeze with a automatic trans 155,000 miles and i was just pondering how much a can get one rebuilt or replaced if something bad were to happen it.

No there is nothing wrong with it i just want to know before hand or possibly buy another just in case mine has a bad history ,i want to keep this car.

i'm sure the oil in the car's motor has been changed a few 100 times, ever change the trans fluid and filter. having the trans changed in any front wheel drive car is costly seeing you have to just about rip the entire front end apart to get the trans out. if the tranny fluid and filter have never been changed i would take to a good garage and have it done, any "good" garage can tell when the fluid is changed along with the filter if the tranny is burning fluid and is going to last or not.
