switched polarity jumping battery -need help

My battery is dead and I jumped it and accidentally switched the cables. It sparked and I immediately switched them back. I started the car and it started right away but immediately died. The check engine light stays on, and I tried a few other times with the same result - it starts, but dies after a few seconds - almost seems like it's not getting gas. Any ideas?

There's a good chance it's fried the ECM...
